Product Development class was a collaborative class, group of fashion design and marketing students had to come up with brand that serves for the target market they chose to market. Palisade was the technical wear brand we developed for Kitsilano demographic target market. 

I learned the importance of doing research on our target market's demographic, Psychographic, and geographic including our competitor brands. Throughout research, I learned how to market and be competitive in the very competitive industry, and I realized this class prepared us for real fashion industry situations. 

One of our technical jacket in our lookbook, made of Gore-Tex Pro Shell is highly demanded especially in Vancouver due to the weather and outdoor activities. Not only aesthetically pleasing, but also every feature has functional aspects into it, our brand represented quality more than quantity.
